The Mama de Lune Moses Basket is suitable from birth until your baby can sit up unaided, roll over, or push themselves up on their hands and knees. This is typically up to approximately 9kg or around 4-6 months.
Is the mattress included and is it safe for overnight sleep?
Yes, every basket comes complete with a firm, water-resistant, and breathable mattress. It is specifically designed for newborn safety and is fully compliant with British Standards, however we recommend supervised use.
How do I clean the dressings and the basket?
The fabric liner and mattress cover are fully removable and machine washable at 40 degrees. For the hand-woven palm basket, simply wipe it down with a damp cloth and allow it to dry naturally.
Is the hood adjustable?
Yes, the hood features an adjustable toggle system so you can move it up to provide shade and a cozy environment during daytime naps, or fold it down for easy access to your baby.
